Welcome back all! I hope you enjoyed your fall break!
Here is what our week looks like in K1:
Reading: The students will hear the stories "Amelia's Show and Tell" and "Mice Squeak We Speak." The high frequency word is "we" and they will be introduced to the /t/ sound. We will be making paper Jack-O-Lanterns and using the sensory words we have learned about to write about and describe our pumpkins.
Math: We will continue to practice using tens frames to count numbers up to 20. The students will practice writing numbers 10-20 as well.
Religion: In preparation for All Saints Day, we will begin to learn about a Saint each day. The students will be introduced to adoration as well as we will begin to visit the adoration chapel next week. This Friday is also a Pride Day where the students will meet with their Pride families to learn more about prayer.
Have a great week!
