Hello K1 families!
This week marks the halfway point for our school year - can you believe it! We will spend our week celebrating the Christmas season by reviewing skills we have worked on up to this point. The students will work on Christmas themed literacy and math centers to practice these skills.
Monday animal reports are due. Make sure your child returns their diorama and their report to school by Monday and they are prepared to present to our class. I cannot wait to see all their wonderful work!
Thursday is our class Christmas party! If you are safe environment compliant please feel free to join us at 1 pm for all the fun activities! You may take your child at the conclusion of our party. I hope to see you all there!
Lastly, Friday is green and red accessory day as well as ugly sweater day! We will have our Nativity share at 11:15. The kids may bring in a nativity they created or bring one from home that is special to them. We will view all the nativities together and then end our day with courtyard prayer. Please plan on staying for courtyard prayer. Dismissal for Friday is 11:50 and there will not be any extended day so please plan accordingly.
Thank you and have a merry Christmas and happy new year!
