Monday is the 100th Day of School!! I can't wait to celebrate being 100 days brighter with the kids this week.
We have a lot going on in the next few weeks at our school and many opportunities for you to volunteer.
Here is what we will be working on in our classroom this week:
Reading - We will have our Unit 3 Assessment on Monday and we will also will begin our new lesson. The new lesson is about "testing ideas" so we will revisit what science is and hear the stories Dear Mr. Blueberry and What is Science? Our sound this week is /i/ and we will be learning 6 new high frequency words: is, of, so, many, what, and how. We also will learn about question words and question marks.
Religion - This week we will be reviewing sin and what it is. Then we will begin a lesson about forgiveness. We will learn what it means to forgive someone and how God will always forgive our sins.
Math - The students will be assessed on our comparing sets chapter this week. Then we will be learning about ordinal numbers (first, second, third, etc.).
Have a great week!
