Happy Catholic Schools Week! We have a week full of fun activities planned so make sure you stay up to date on what is happening each day. I will send email reminders as well but here is an outline of the week:
Monday - Free dress day for students who wore their uniform to mass this weekend. Make sure to sign the coupon for your child and send it to school with them.
Tuesday - crazy sock day
Wednesday - red, white, and blue accessory day
Thursday - crazy tie day
Friday - field day!!
Please make sure to follow all the specific guidelines for each day. I will attach the detailed schedule to the end of the this post for you to look over. Thank you!
Here is what we will be working on in K1 this week:
Reading - We will be finishing up the lesson we started last week on nature. The sound is still /g/ and our words to practice are find, from, on, but, this, came. We will read the story From Caterpillar to Butterfly and learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. The students will also learn the difference between a common noun and a proper noun.
Math - This week's lesson is about counting on and counting back. It will be another lesson to prepare the students for simple addition and subtraction problems.
Religion - We will continue to learn about Jesus' miracles and participate in various activities for Catholic School's Week!
Have a wonderful week!
