This week we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday! If you have not had a chance to already, please sign up to come in and read to our class! There are a lot of spots still available and I would love to fill them. Check the sign up genius for the times that are still open.
Don't forget that Wednesday is also the last day to turn in money for Jump Rope for Heart.
This is what we will be working on this week:
Reading: Monday we will take our Unit 4 assessment. We will also begin our new lesson about working together. The students will here the stories Simon and Molly plus Hester as well as Zin, Zin, Zin a Violin. Our new sound is /o/ and our sight words will be make, them, give, play, say, new.
Math: We will review five and ten frames and practice using them to show how we can compose numbers. We will also practice counting on to 15 using different strategies.
Religion: The students will continue to learn about the Stations of the Cross. We will work on stations 4-8 this week in their books.
Have a great week!
